Kanye West, as well as The Neptunes, will serve as producers on Pusha T’s forthcoming album.
In a recent Instagram Live appearance with Steven Victor, the manager of the late Pop Smoke, Push revealed that a follow-up to his 2018 album DAYTONA is currently underway. He also announced that the record will feature production from frequent collaborator West and The Neptunes, the producer duo of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo.
“As of right now it’s only Ye and Pharrell—and Neptunes, I’m sorry,” the GOOD Music president said. “That’s it, ain’t nothing to talk about.” The rapper added, “You know I bring the best out. I bring the best, I bring the best out of everybody.”
Later, Victor probed King Push further on the collaborations, revealing that he’d already heard snippets of the Neptunes-produced tracks. “I heard like four of them joints and I immediately put an order in for a car,” Victor joked, to which Push laughingly agreed, “Me too, though, for real.”

West had previously produced the majority of Push’s DAYTONA album, including the tracks “If You Know You Know” and “What Would Meek Do?,” which he also featured on.
Ye, who spent the year campaigning for the US presidential elections and eventually admitted defeat, has recently dropped collaborations with a slew of hip hop acts. Among them were SAINt JHN, DaBaby and 2Chainz, and Ty Dolla $ign.
Meanwhile, The Neptunes reunited earlier in the year and returned with “Pomegranate,” a collaboration with Canadian producer Deadmau5, in July. They also produced SZA’s comeback single “Hit Different” and were in the studio with Megan Thee Stallion.
