Kanye West previews new collab with DaBaby

A remix of Ye’s new song “Nah Nah Nah” is in the works.

A Kanye West and DaBaby collab is on the horizon.

Over the weekend, West shared a screenshot of a text message between himself and the Charlotte rapper, discussing their upcoming collab. In the conversation, Ye thanked DaBaby for teaming up with him. DaBaby responded, “Been inspired. Still inspired!,” adding that he’d been a fan of Ye since 2007’s Graduation.

Yesterday, Kanye uploaded an audio snippet of DaBaby’s verse on Instagram. “DABABY TURNED THIS VERSE AROUND SO QUICK ITS INSPIRATIONAL TO SEE HOW FAST WE CAN MOVE AS A PEOPLE. I HAD TO GIVE YALL AT LEAST A SNIPPET,” Ye wrote in the caption. Listen to the preview below:

As Complex noted, the teaser seems to be a remix of Ye’s new song “Nah Nah Nah,” which he dropped last week. Initially debuted on DJ Pharris’ Power 92 Chicago show and later uploaded to streaming platforms, the track was released as part of the rapper’s presidential candidate campaign.

Ye had also shared “Nah Nah Nah” in celebration of purported Presidential polling results from Kentucky, which put the rapper ahead of Democratic candidate Joe Biden, who landed in third place. However, a local news station later reported that the numbers were fake.

Ye announced that he was running for POTUS earlier in July. Prior to that, the rapper teased his upcoming album God’s Country with “Wash Us in the Blood” featuring Travis Scott.
