Kanye West pops new single “XTCY,” and it’s scoopity-whoop again

Yeezy’s first track since the GOOD Music releases.

Listen up, the Louis Vuitton Don has dropped a new track titled, “XTCY.” DJ and producer Clark Kent—who’s worked with The Notorious BIG and Jay-Z—made the announcement via Twitter on Saturday. Check it out here:

It is possible that “XTCY” was on an earlier cut of Ye but somehow got axed. In May, we reported that West uploaded a video on Twitter that teased the tracklist to his Ye album. And we clearly see “EXTACY” written under “YE.”

The lyrics of the song, which include “scoopity-whoop,” straddle the line between puerile and psychotic. But then again, so does Ye. “You got sick thoughts? I got more of ’em,” he raps on the open. “You got a sister-in-law you would smash? I got four of ’em.”  Uhh, okay, Kanye. ?
