The song was released to mark Juneteenth.

Kamaiyah has released a luxurious video for her new song, “Black Excellence.”

On the song, Kamaiyah puts her swagger on full display as she raps about her success and rise to fame. “Love to star style in the hood with it, I’m tripped out / Bitch, I turn this bitch to a man down / I’m a cash cow, worth stacks now / You was with me back then, but where you at now? / Black magic, bitch, I’m that brown,” she spits.

In the accompanying clip, the rapper flexes her lavish lifestyle and throws a party in her lavish mansion. The song was released to mark Juneteenth (June 19), the unofficial holiday that celebrates the end of the slavery in the United States.

“Happy Juneteenth to all my melanated folks out there today we celebrate our victories and not our demises let’s continue to make our ancestors proud with our forward thinking and progression,” Kamaiyah wrote on Instagram.
