Junglepussy unveils new album, ‘Jp4’

With features from Gangsta Boo and Ian Isiah.

Junglepussy has shared her newest album, Jp4.

For the ten-song offering, the New York rapper—real name Shayna McHayle—enlisted Gangsta Boo and Ian Isaiah for the songs “Stamina” and “Out My Window,” respectively. The record also features previously released singles “Main Attraction” and “Arugula.”

“The number three is very powerful for manifestation. Number four, though, is really securing the foundation,” the rapper explained in a press statement. “From the genesis of Junglepussy, I struggled with my sound, because what I was doing at the time, I knew it wasn’t really, really, really what I wanted to do. But I just didn’t know how to get there. Jp4 really sounds like and feels like I got there.”

Jp4 is Junglepussy’s third studio album, following 2018’s Jp3 and her 2015 full-length debut, Pregnant with Success. Earlier this year, the rapper also joined Australian artist Sampa the Great on a remix of “Time’s Up.”
