Juice WRLD surprises fans with new single, “Run”

The track samples vocals by the enigmatic Shiloh Dynasty.

Juice WRLD is back with his first post-Death Race for Love single, “Run.”

Over an ominously catchy beat by LordQuest, Juice raps about wrestling with inner demons and using drugs to cope. “And drugs only make it worse, cap / I take a perc, then I take me a nap / Take a sip of the syrup so I could go relax / Bitch, I’m ready for war when the demons attack,” he sings. The track features a sample of Shiloh Dynasty’s vocals from “Drowning My Sorrows” by Masked Man.

Juice recently linked up with Ellie Goulding on “Hate Me.” He also previously dropped visuals for “Fast” and “Hear Me Calling,” which are cuts from Death Race for Love.
