Joyner Lucas gets his “Revenge” in dramatic new video

A bank heist goes south.

Joyner Lucas has released a cinematic clip for his latest song, “Revenge.”

In the nine-minute short film, the rapper plays the ringleader of a crew of robbers. They successfully pull off a daring heist on a bank vault, but while leaving the scene of the crime, Lucas’ crew turns on him and guns him down.

However, the rapper survives the betrayal and returns two years later for his revenge. Lucas disguises himself as a pizza deliveryman, a bartender and a limousine driver to infiltrate the now-luxurious lives of his former associates, and murders them in cold blood.

“Revenge,” which was released last week, is the latest taste of Lucas’ upcoming album, ADHD. Previously released songs such as the Timbaland-assisted “10 Bands” and “ISIS,” featuring Logic, are expected to appear on the record, which arrives sometime in March.
