Joey Bada$$ joins ‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’ as Inspectah Deck

The Hulu mini-series comes out later this year.

Joey Bada$$ has announced that he will portray Inspectah Deck in Hulu’s upcoming mini-series, Wu-Tang: An American Saga.

In a recent interview with radio personality Angie Martinez, the Brooklyn rapper revealed that he was cast in the ten-part drama about the iconic hip hop collective. He will be joining Dave East, who will play Method Man. “We still shooting. But it comes out this year,” Bada$$ said when asked if the series was currently still in production.

“[The accuracy of the set and details are] pretty on point from what I’ve seen,” Bada$$ added. “I like what they’re doing. I like how they’re doing it. The only thing with TV is it ain’t a music video. There’s no playback. You just have to trust. You have to give your best performance and hope they pick the right take.”
