JID announces new album, shares song with J Cole

‘DiCaprio 2’ is out later this month.

Wait no longer: a new JID album is coming your way later this month, and it’s titled DiCaprio 2.

The Atlanta rapper, who recently turned 28 on Halloween, took to Twitter to reveal his forthcoming LP. “My birthday gift to y’all for being patient,” he tweeted alongside a photo of the album art, which features a throwback portrait of Leonardo DiCaprio, the inspiration behind his latest record.

Following the announcement, JID dropped a new single “Off Deez,” featuring J Cole. Produced by ChaseTheMoney, the blazing track finds the Dreamville rappers firing deadly shots at their critics. “Get off my dick, get off my dick / .40 my hip, loadin’ my clip,” JID furiously spits on the menacing opening line. You better think twice about messing with them.

DiCaprio 2 arrives on November 26, more than a year after the release of JID’s debut studio album, The Never Story.
