Jay Park takes ‘The Road Less Traveled’ on new album

It includes the song “Twisted Dreams” which features Jay Electronica (!).

Over the weekend, Jay Park released his latest LP, The Road Less Traveled.

The Korean-American rapper enlists a sprawling roster of guest features and producers for the ambitious 17-track LP. But one name, in particular, stands out from the crowd: the elusive Jay Electronica. The New Orleans rapper, who last released solo music in 2017 with “Letter to Falon,” jumps on “Twisted Dreams” with his lyrical flow on a brief but impressive verse. The long list also includes Malaysian rapper Joe Flizzow, Masiwei and DZknow of Higher Brothers, and Korean singer-producer Gray, to name a few.

The record was released alongside a video for lead single, “Feng Shui,” featuring Cha Cha Malone. In the video, Park performs the song on various locations around his sprawling mansion, including a tennis court, a carpark and a balcony overlooking the hills.

The Road Less Traveled is Park’s first full-length release since 2016’s Korean-language Everything You Wanted. He previously dropped his Ask Bout Me EP last July.
