Jaden Smith and Kanye West are teaming up for a Showtime TV series called Omniverse.

According to Variety, Smith is slated to play a young, alternate-reality version of West in the half-hour anthology series that will “[examine] the many doors of perception.” Amongst the show’s executive producers are West and music executive Scooter Braun.

Smith has been flexing his acting chops in recent years, with starring roles in Netflix shows like the animated series Neo Yokio and Baz Luhrmann’s The Get Down. The prolific rapper also recently released the three-song-project ERYS IS COMING following his 2018 mixtape, The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story.

West has also appeared on the silver screen before, with a small cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues and appearances in the latest season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
