In celebration of the sixth anniversary of ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’.

J Cole has released a video for “Fire Squad,” a cut from 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

The video was released on Wednesday, December 9, in celebration of the album’s sixth anniversary. Directed by Maxim Bohichik, the intense clip focuses on a chess game between a young girl and an elderly man. Cole, on the other hand, appears in a desert to perform the track.

“A bunch of [J Cole] videos got deleted way back and today [we’re] getting them all back up. And because it’s the anniversary [of] 2014 Forest Hills Drive, here’s the world premiere of the never before released video for ‘Fire Squad,’” the official Dreamville Twitter account posted.

Earlier this year, Cole released “The Climb Back” and “Lion King on Ice,” both cuts from his upcoming album The Fall Off. The rapper is also set to launch a new content studio through his label, Dreamville Records.

Cole has yet to announce a release date for The Fall Off. While you wait, watch the video for “Fire Squad” below:
