New Lil Nas X music might just be around the corner: the country trap prince recently shared that he might be dropping fresh material real soon.
Late last week, the singer––who shot to fame last year with his Billy Ray Cyrus-assisted, genre-scrambling hit “Old Town Road”––announced on Twitter that a follow-up to his debut EP 7 was imminent. “Gonna start back releasing music soon the ‘Old Town Road’ money running out,” he jokingly tweeted last Thursday (September 10).
On Sunday, he shared another update via Instagram story: a photo of a notebook filled with the album’s potential tracklist. Included on the list were the titles “One of Me,” “Titanic” and “Don’t Want it.” “Call Me By Your Name,” a song Lil Nas had previewed earlier in July, was also featured.

Lil Nas has been teasing his debut studio album for a while now. Earlier in July, he said that he was “almost finished” with the record and was also working on a mixtape, per NME. Details for either project have yet to be released.
The rapper released 7 in June last year. The eight-song EP also included the hits “Panini” and the Cardi B-featuring “Rodeo.” Both tracks also received the remix treatment from DaBaby and Nas, respectively.
