Iggy Azalea drops long-awaited album, ‘In My Defense’

After a series of career setbacks.

Iggy Azalea has finally released her highly anticipated sophomore LP, In My Defense.

The 12-track record contains the promotional singles “Sally Walker,” “Started” and “Just Wanna.” The album also includes collabs such as “Freak of the Week” with Juicy J, the Lil Yachty-assisted “Hoemita” and “Fuck it Up,” featuring Kash Doll.

In My Defense arrives five years after the Australian artist’s debut full-length, The New Classic. Originally titled Digital Distortion and slated for a 2016 release, the initial project was shelved in 2017 due to label conflicts and personal struggles. Azalea began working on a new album, and subsequently dropped the Survive the Summer EP last June. In My Defense is also the rapper’s first independent release via Bad Dreams, the label that she established last year.
