IDK drops star-studded major label debut, ‘Is He Real?’

Featuring Tyler, the Creator, DMX, Pusha T and more.

Maryland rapper IDK has released his much-anticipated album, Is He Real?.

The 14-song record features an impressive list of industry heavy-hitters, including DMX, Pusha T, Burna Boy and Tyler, the Creator. Dreamville’s JID also contributes to the record on “Porno.” A Frank Ocean sample was originally slated to appear on the LP, but had to be left off the tracklist due to clearance issues.

“I had to take Frank Ocean off of the album because I didn’t get the clearance in time,” IDK explained on Twitter. “Frank Ocean is my favorite artist of this generation and I would have pushed the album back again but I couldn’t do that to my fans. I do appreciate his team for reaching out to get it cleared.”

Is He Real? is IDK’s first album on a major label, Warner Music Group, which he partnered with in June. He previously dropped the Logic diss track “Trigger Happy” in March.
