Ice-T says Dr Dre is “doing good” in the hospital

He was taken into intensive care after a suspected brain aneurysm.

Ice-T has shared a positive update on Dr Dre’s condition after the hip hop veteran was hospitalized earlier this month for suspected brain aneurysm.

In an Instagram post earlier this week, Ice-T confirmed that he recently spoke to Dre who was “doing good.” “Hopefully he’ll be home soon,” the rapper added. “But let’s keep him in our prayers. 🙏 For a full recovery.”

Dre was rushed to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on January 4 and has remained in the intensive care unit since. According to a report from TMZ on January 11, doctors are still running tests on the rapper-producer to find out what caused the aneurysm.

After news broke about Dre’s hospitalization, the rapper took to Instagram to assure his fans that he was recovering well. He also thanked his supporters, including his friends and family, for all the well wishes. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon,” he wrote.

Last year, it was rumored that Dre was working on a new album that will feature Eminem, however, neither artist has confirmed the speculation.
