Hip hop OG Bun B drops new record, ‘Return of the Trill’

The Texas rapper returns to the scene with his fifth studio album.

It’s taken five years, but UGK co-founder Bun B is back with a new record, Return of the Trill.

Like the rise and fall of a tide, Bun B’s career has taken him in and out of the hip hop limelight since the ’90s. This time he returns with a 14-track masterpiece, featuring appearances from the likes of Yo Gotti, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, TI and many more. There’s even a posthumous feature by Pimp C.

The record features the rapper’s quintessential Southern sound perfectly. No one mixes twangy guitars with thumping beats and hard-hitting rhymes quite like Bun B does.
