Stream Erick the Architect’s debut solo EP, ‘Future Proof’

With features from Col3trane, FARR, Loyle Carner and more.

Erick the Architect has delivered his debut solo EP, Future Proof.

The Flatbush Zombies producer recruited an all-UK line-up of featured artists for the project, including Col3trane, FARR, Loyle Carner, Sophie Faith, Linden Jay and Pip Millett. The five-song EP also includes the previously released “WTF” and “Let it Go.”

Although Erick is mostly known for his work with Meechy Darko and Zombie Juice, the Brooklyn native had been recording his own solo music before the Flatbush crew’s formation, and intends to follow up Future Proof with a studio album of the same name.

Speaking with Brooklyn Vegan, Erick explained his inspiration behind the project’s title and theme. “Future Proof isn’t just an EP or album title—our world is changing faster than ever and I would hope that we take a second to think about how we can better ourselves emotionally, financially, socially and mentally,” he said. “There is always more to learn and I don’t think now is the time to deprive ourselves of information.”

Last year, Erick teamed up with Darko and Juice for “Afterlife,” produced by James Blake. Stream Future Proof below:
