Hear Young Thug, Drake, Future rap on ‘Slime Language 2’

Young Stoner Life Records’ new label compilation also features Skepta, Big Sean, Lil Uzi Vert, Kid Cudi and more.

Young Thug’s Young Stoner Life Records has unleashed its second compilation album, Slime Language 2.

Besides label boss Thugger himself, the hefty 23-track record features big names like Drake (on “Solid”), Future (“Superstar”), Skepta (“WokStar”), Big Sean (“Warrior”), Lil Uzi Vert (“Proud of You” and Kid Cudi (“Moon Man”). YSL Records artists appear throughout, including Gunna, Yak Gotti and T-Shyne.

Thugger had first teased the highly anticipated record last October on his Instagram Stories, when he and other YSL artists hinted at a Black Friday (November 27) release. The release date came and went, though singles dropped: “Take it to Trial” and the Meek Mill-assisted “That Go!.”

Thug confirmed a new release date for Slime Language 2 in an Instagram post earlier this week. “4/16 THE ALBUM,” he captioned the album’s cover art, which is a family portrait-style photo of the label’s roster. See it below:

Slime Language 2 is the follow-up to 2018 comp Slime Language. It’s also Young Thug’s first full-length offering since his 2020 mixtape with Chris Brown, Slime & B. He released his last solo studio album, So Much Fun, in 2019.
