Hear the “Outro” to Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album

The late rapper offers words of wisdom to fans.

The closing track to Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album, “Outro,” has dropped.

The 30-second track captures nuggets of wisdom from the late rapper.“That’s why we try to tell the young n****s like, stay focused, you understand? You know what I’m saying, keep you mind straight on the prize. Don’t let nothing get in between,” he encourages listeners on the track. “Focus up. You’ve got to be fully focused. You can’t let shit get in between you and your goal. You tell them n****s ‘Shoot for the stars, aim for the moon.’”

That last line is a reference to Pop’s first posthumous album, 2020’s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon. The upcoming album will simply be titled Pop Smoke. The posthumous record was teased in a trailer last week, and is set to feature 17 tracks when it drops on July 16.
