A new posthumous Juice WRLD song, titled “Remind Me of You,” is out now.
The song was released on Tuesday, December 8, the first anniversary of the rapper’s untimely death. The track features Australian rapper The Kid LAROI, Juice’s mentee and friend, and is a rework of Kim Petras’ “Reminds Me.”
Petras also recently recalled when Juice came into the studio to record his verse. “We were all working on the song and Juice came through the studio. […] And he recorded this amazing verse on ‘Reminds Me,’” she said on Instagram.
“I had always, always in the back of my mind hoped it would see the light of day, because it’s so good and I was such a big fan,” Petras added. “And obviously it’s very tragic what happened to Juice, and I’ve always hoped there would be some kind of way that his verse can come out.”
“Remind Me of You” follows the release of other posthumous single “Real Shit,” produced by Benny Blanco, which was released on December 2, on what would have been Juice’s 22nd birthday. Earlier this year, Juice’s label released his first posthumous album, Legends Never Die. A second posthumous Juice WRLD record is also reportedly in the works.
