Hear a new A$AP Rocky song, “G-Unit Rice”

It’s only available on Instagram—for now.

A$AP Rocky has shared his first solo track of the year in the form of “G-Unit Rice.”

The song was originally posted on A$AP associate and AGWE member Hidji’s Instagram account and later shared on the A$AP Mob’s stories, according to Complex.

The post also featured a clip that documents a trip around New York City, with Flacko making a couple of brief appearances towards the end. Produced by Zach Fogarty and Jean Dawson, “G-Unit Rice” could be a little taste of what Rocky’s new material might sound like.

“All these chicks and marijuana / Fitting my persona / Mix with my designer / I’mma need that by the morning darling,” raps Rocky over the psychedelic beat. “I sit back and watch / I sit back like recliner / These thoughts could fix your problems / These thoughts could get me locked up / Nine shots, now my enemies shot up.”

The Harlem rapper is currently working on his fourth studio album All $miles, which will be the first since 2018’s TESTING. It also follows “MAZZA,” his collaboration with slowthai released last month. His last solo track was “Babushka Boi,” released in 2019.
