Halsey hops on new posthumous Juice WRLD song, “Life’s a Mess”

His album, ‘Legends Never Die,’ drops this week.

Ahead of the first posthumous Juice WRLD album, his label has shared a new single called “Life’s a Mess,” featuring Halsey.

Produced by Rex Kudo and Charlie Handsome, the song features Juice and Halsey crooning about how their relationships have gotten them through life’s rough patches. “Sometimes life’s a mess / Yeah, I get high when I’m upset / I remember when me and love ain’t click / Lookin’ for somethin’ real, then I found it,” Juice sings on the chorus.

On Instagram, Halsey shared a new “Life’s a Mess” tattoo, dedicated to the late rapper who died at the end of last year after suffering a seizure. “Juice was one of the greatest people I have ever known, and one of the most brilliant artists we will ever live to witness,” she wrote.

“A true genius who had lyric and melody spilling out of him without any second thought or hesitation. And a beautiful soul who believed in spreading love and creating a community for people to feel less alone. It means everything to me that I could be a part of this album. I cried the first time that I heard it.”

The track will appear on the Legends Never Die LP, which will also feature “Righteous” and “Tell Me U Luv Me” with Trippie Redd. Juice was previously featured on the song “Go” by Australia rapper The Kid LAROI.
