Gunna has released his highly anticipated sophomore album, Wunna.
For the 18-track record, the rapper enlisted a star-studded cast of hip hop contemporaries, including Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Travis Scott and Nechie. The LP also features Young Thug on two songs (“Dollz on My Head” and “Far”), as well as production from hitmakers such as Wheezy, Mike Will Made-It, Tay Keith and more.
Ahead of the album’s arrival, Gunna also revealed the second half of his Wunna documentary, which captures the album’s recording process in the rapper’s Jamaica compound. Part one was released earlier this week, alongside title track “Wunna.”
The Atlanta rapper also told BigBoyTV why he was still releasing the album despite the coronavirus pandemic. “I wanted to drop it at the top of the year… We’re just like, put it out now ’cause there ain’t no reason to be waiting on no pandemic to be over, ’cause I’ll be waiting forever,” Gunna said.
