Gucci Mane links up with Quavo on “Bipolar”

A new one from ‘Evil Genius.’

Gucci Mane’s highly anticipated album, Evil Genius, is out this Friday, and to tease its arrival, he’s shared a brand-new song “Bipolar,” featuring Quavo.

The bass-heavy banger, co-produced by Deko, Smash David and OG Parker, finds the trap kings boasting about the usual: Lambos, diamond chains and their endless stacks of cash. But in-between the braggadocious verses, Gucci also takes the time to discuss his mental health: “He must be bipolar ’cause he can’t stay in his lane / I’m talking to my shrink, and I’m draped in a mink / She asked me want I need, I said, ‘Bitch I need some’ to drink.” In 2011, Rolling Stones reported that the rapper was admitted to a mental health treatment facility for his volatile behavior.

Evil Genius will feature guest spots from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, 21 Savage, Lil Skies and more. It will also include previously released singles “Wake Up in the Sky” and “I’m Not Goin’.”
