Guapdad 4000 and !llmind are teaming up on a joint album called 1176 and have released its lead single, “How Many.”

The song, which samples Alice DJ’s 1999 hit “Better Off Alone,” dropped alongside a mystical video starring Guapdad. In the clip, the rapper tries to escape from a mysterious church compound, guarded by a demure-looking woman who has a dark side.

1176 will be entirely produced by !llmind and is due out next month. The project will mark Guapdad’s first LP since 2019’s Dior Deposits and follow up his 2020 EP, Platinum Falcon Returns. On the other hand, !llmind produced Marin Craft’s latest single, “Roadtrippin,” which was released earlier this month.

“If !llmind had a power it would be to shapeshift; he can do anything,” Guapdad said of working with the Grammy Award-winning producer, per Complex. “Something like this comes in handy when you need to tell the full spectrum of your story like I did in this music. I had no idea we would stumble upon something this magical though, but I guess I should have known that linking up with my Filipino brother would enhance my super powers! Enjoy it scamily.”

1176 arrives on March 19. Watch the video for “How Many” here:
