G Herbo addresses fraud charges in new song “Statement”

The Chicago rapper has pled not guilty in his federal case.

G Herbo has dropped a video for new single “Statement,” on which he raps about his recent federal charges of fraud.

Earlier this month, the Chicago rapper was charged in a federal case which alleged that he and some members of his crew used stolen credit card info, purportedly acquired through the dark web, to make lavish purchases. Officials claim they bought private jet charters, limousine rides, a vacation villa in Jamaica and designer puppies in an “elaborate fraud scheme” that lasted years.

Herbo later pled not guilty to the charges, and maintains his innocence on “Statement.” He raps: “Let’s talk about this paper / Let’s talk about them jets / Yeah let’s talk about Jamaica / Yeah ask about me, I ain’t never been a fraud.”


Herbo released his third studio album PTSD in March, expanding it two months later with a deluxe edition. Watch his video for “Statement” below:
