G-Eazy unveils Wes Anderson-inspired video for “Down”

‘The Grand Budapest Hotel,’ but make it raunchy.

G-Eazy has returned with a Wes Anderson-inspired video for his latest single, “Down” featuring Mulatto.

In the clip, Young Gerald works alongside comedian and actor Rob Schneider at an old hotel like the one seen in Anderson’s 2014 film The Grand Budapest Hotel. But the pair aren’t your ordinary bellboys—they also provide some extra special services for their guests..

Meanwhile, Mulatto appears as the hotel’s scheming owner, who’s only interested in making money. Be sure to also look out for cameos from Flo Milli, Jordyn Woods and Saucy Santana.

“Down” is G-Eazy’s first release since dropping his fifth studio album, Everything’s Strange Here, back in June. That LP was recorded during self-isolation and features the rapper exploring new genres like synth pop and psychedelia. It included songs like “Free Porn, Cheap Drugs” and “Nostalgia Cycle.”
