G-Eazy announces new album with “Free Porn Cheap Drugs”

The first taste of ‘Everything’s Strange Here.’

G-Eazy has announced a new album, Everything’s Strange Here, with the release of the LP’s first single, “Free Porn Cheap Drugs.”

The rapper reveals a different side of himself on “Free Porn Cheap Drugs,” showcasing his soft vocals over melodic production by Austin Ward and Jesse Ackerman. “Desensitize and just let go / Abandon all the things you know / No TV, no radio / No bright screens, no place to go,” G-Eazy sings. In the hazy accompanying video, Young Gerald and some friends go for a scenic drive.

“The world has been turned upside down and inside out—but a lot of us have had the fortunate opportunity to self reflect, grow and evolve,” the Bay Area rapper said of Everything’s Strange Here on Instagram. “This project is a representation of where my heart and head have been at. It’s honest and pure—it’s me. Take it or leave it—this is how I feel.”

Everything’s Strange Here, the follow-up to G-Eazy’s 2019 Scary Nights EP, is set to arrive on June 5. It’s unknown if the forthcoming album will include his previously released song, “Moana.”
