Future shares new Wheezy-produced song, “Crushed Up”

The trap king is reclaiming his throne in 2019.

Future’s made it clear: 2019 is gonna be his year. Just days after releasing his French Montana-assisted “NASA,” the trap star has now followed up with a new song, “Crushed Up.”

Produced by Wheezy, the track features the Atlanta rapper delivering braggadocious verses over an ominous, bass-heavy beat. The two-minute-long flex fest finds Future boasting about his collection of expensive things, from Swiss watches to supercars. “I just put my whole damn arm in the fridge / Ten chains on, Lucky Charms, I’m the shit / Ten, ten different exotic cars how we slid,” he spits.

The song arrived alongside a Spike Jordan- and Sebastian Sdaigui-directed music video inspired by The Nutcracker. In the clip, a young boy transports himself inside a snow globe where Future and his legion of ballerinas (and pole dancers) reign supreme.
