Future bares his soul on ‘Save Me’ EP

It’s only been six months since ‘The WIZRD.’

Future is nothing if not prolific: He’s just released a seven-track EP, Save Me, a mere six months after his last album, The WIZRD.

The Atlanta rapper announced the release just yesterday in an Instagram post that was notably pegged to a ‘location’ named “Oh Fuck, I Have Made A Huge Mistake.” As that geo-tag foreshadowed, Save Me is a collection of melodic mope-bangers crafted in the aftermath of poor romantic decision-making—the kind Future does so well.

There are no guest artists on the EP, though a coterie of producers contribute: Fuse and K-Major worked on “St Lucia,” FXXXXY on “Government Official” and Dre Moon on “Love Thy Enemies,” just to name a few.
