Freddie Gibbs, Benny the Butcher live large in video for “Frank Lucas”

From Gibbs’ ‘Alfredo’ project with The Alchemist.

Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist have released a video for their Alfredo cut “Frank Lucas,” featuring Benny the Butcher.

Directed by Will Gates, the clip captures Gibbs and Benny as they live it up in Miami, sipping on expensive champagne on a private yacht. The visual also features shots of Gibbs standing in front of a mural of himself, while wearing a mink coat and hat—a look that’s become synonymous with the infamous Harlem drug trafficker and the song’s titular character, Frank Lucas.

“Pray my soul to keep, dear Lord, lay me down / The SWAT team might machine gun or grenade me down / And if they do, tell my people just hold my babies down / N***a, we need to go back to pagers like it’s the ’80s now,” Gibbs raps.
