Fetty Wap returns with fresh mixtape, ‘Trap & B’

New material from the trap extraordinaire.

Fetty Wap is back with a brand-new mixtape titled Trap & B.

The New Jersey rapper teamed up with longtime producer CezBeats on the seven-track project, which was released on Valentine’s Day as a gift to his fans according to Complex. Trap & B finds Fetty going down a soulful and laid-back route: Opener “Black Friday” eases listeners in with its sun-kissed, piano-driven melody while “Reasons” is a showcase of the rapper’s vocal range. “FWY,” a minimalist trap gem, wraps up the record.

According to HipHopDX, Trap & B is a prelude to Fetty’s much-delayed sophomore album, King Zoo, which is expected to arrive in June. Last year, the rapper released the one-off single, “Birthday” featuring Monty, a follow-up to his 2018 mixtape, Bruce Wayne.
