Father is both “Hitman” and target in his new video

A new visual from his 2020 EP, ‘Tha Thingz I Do 4 Money.’

Atlanta rapper Father has dropped a video for “Hitman,” from the EP Tha Thingz I Do 4 Money he released last August.

The Trent Munson-directed video takes cues from the song’s title and opens on Father staring down the barrel of his gun aimed at the window of a building. Inside is his target, who is also played by Father in a bright orange suit and retro wig. The clip’s drama unfurls as hitman-Father is pictured in various scenarios trying to get the job done.

“I’ll do something real fucked up for a band / Got mouths to feed, my soul I’ll damn / Boss man said, ‘Aye, cut off his hand’ / Fuck that n***a, he not my mans,” Father raps over a melodic beat.

In November, Father finished off the year with his second EP, Come Outside, We Not Gone Jump You. Most recently, he teamed up with Working On Dying and Zack Fox for their single, “The Madness.”
