Enter 21 Savage, Metro Boomin’s villa in video for “My Dawg”

From their recently released joint effort, ‘Savage Mode II.’

21 Savage and Metro Boomin have unveiled a lavish video for “My Dawg,” a cut off their freshly released joint project Savage Mode II.

The clip opens on the duo rolling up to their luxurious villa in a shiny sports car. There, they’re treated like royalty as butlers serve them ginormous spreads of food while beefy armed security guards patrol the vicinity.

Later on, 21 seemingly takes a shot at his naysayers about his UK citizenship by standing with a row of British soldiers. “N***a keep talkin’ that UK shit like I don’t got AKs / Like, ’cause I was born overseas, these motherfuckers ain’t gon’ spray-spray / Pull up in your hood, n***a, 9-1-1, y’all better call mayday,” he spits.

In February 2019, the Atlanta rapper was arrested by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who claimed he was a British national who overstayed his visa. He was later granted bond and released from custody.

Savage Mode II finally arrived last Friday after many months of stoking anticipation. A sequel to their 2016 joint EP, Savage Mode, the latest project included cameos from Drake, Young Thug and Young Nudy.
