E-40 enlists Joyner Lucas, TI for “I Stand on That” MV

The trio show off their vintage cars in the luxurious clip.

E-40 has shared the video for “I Stand on That,” his 2020 collaboration with Joyner Lucas and TI.

In the clip, directed by Jay Synth, the trio swap lines in a sprawling warehouse while surrounded by their vintage car collections. “I made a change, I had to be different / I hate when I’m stuck on the edge,” Lucas rhymes. “I bet on myself, reinvented myself / All the plaques I got won’t fit on my shelf.”

E-40 capped off 2020 with “I Stand on That” and his joint release with Too $hort, Ain’t Gone Do it / Terms and Conditions. The 20-track album featured the likes of Freddie Gibbs, Larry June, G-Eazy, Guapdad 4000 and others, and followed the Bay Area duo’s popular Verzuz battle.

On the other hand, Lucas released his Evolution EP in October. The 13-track project followed his debut album ADHD and included collaborations with The Game, Rick Ross, Elijah James and Iyla.
