Dreamville unveil new songs by EarthGang and Ari Lennox

Listen to “Still Up” and “Bussit” here.

Dreamville have kicked off their 2020 with two new songs: EarthGang’s “Still Up,” with Top Dawg Entertainment’s Reason, and the Ari Lennox solo “Bussit.”

On “Still Up,” EarthGang and Reason trade rhymes over the bouncy trap beat. “I’m in a high position, I ain’t used to have a pot to piss in / N***a, I been so focused / N***a, move foward, n***as ain’t loafin’ / I’mma bring change like diggin’ in sofas,” Reason raps.

Meanwhile, EarthGang’s Johnny Venus handles the catchy chorus: “Big money, damn, still up, yeah / Ten summers, fuck, still up, yeah / Spend it, yeah, still up, yeah / No shit, blah, still up, yeah.”

Lennox slows things down on her solo track, “Bussit,” where she serves sultry vocals over the slow jam’s jazzy production. “I know that you’re into me, about it, then let me see / Ride, don’t be scared of me, I’m rowdy as they can be / I like all the ways you do, ooh, boy, you’re killin’ me / I know that you feelin’ me, bust it to the tenth degree,” she sings.

Both “Still Up” and “Bussit” appear on the forthcoming deluxe edition of Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III. The updated compilation arrives tomorrow. Listen to the new songs below.
