Dreamville releases trippy video for “Don’t Hit Me Right Now”

Featuring Bas, Cozz, Yung Baby Tate, Buddy and Guapdad4000.

Record label Dreamville has dropped a psychedelic video for “Don’t Hit Me Right Now,” featuring Bas, Cozz, Yung Baby Tate, Buddy and Guapdad4000.

In the clip, the rappers deliver their laid-back bars against dizzying backdrops created using clever editing tricks and special effects. “I got the chopper, it sing like opera, I make it swoon the bitch / They know my name, when I’m swerving lanes they still ask who that is / She on the molly at the house party, hope she don’t play the kid,” Guapdad4000 spits on the chorus which opens and closes the song.

“Don’t Hit Me Right Now” is a cut from Dreamville’s 2019 compilation album, Revenge of the Dreamers III. The label released the deluxe edition of the album earlier this year, featuring fresh tracks from Bas, JID, 6LACK, Smino and more.
