No beef is over unless Drake says it’s over. Because it seems like the OVO president’s still got some unfinished business with Kanye West. At his recent show in Chicago, he took a potshot at Ye.
On Saturday, Drake switched up the lyrics to his song “Know Yourself,” off 2015’s If You’re Reading This it’s Too Late. Instead of rapping the original “Had a job sellin’ Girbaud jeans / I had a yellow TechnoMarine / Then Kanye dropped, it was polos and backpacks,” Drake swapped “dropped” with “flopped.” Subtle.
The crowd didn’t enjoy it that much, though. According to media reports, the swap was met with a few boos from the audience (Kanye’s a Chicago native, after all).
The Louis Vuitton Don has yet to respond. But considering how he’s never one to stay quiet on things, we won’t be surprised if a clapback is already in the works.
Who’s side are you on: Drizzy or Yeezy?
