Drake teaches the “Toosie Slide” in new video

Directed by Theo Skudra.

Drake has released a video for his brand-new song, “Toosie Slide.”

The Theo Skudra-directed clip opens on the empty streets of Toronto before zooming into Drizzy’s million-dollar mansion where he’s chilling out on his own, admiring his massive award collection. As soon as the beat kicks in, the balaclava-clad rapper starts demonstrating new moves that he’s dubbed the “Toosie Slide.”

“It go right foot up, left foot, slide / Left foot up, right foot, slide,” he raps on the chorus. “Basically, I’m sayin’ either way, we ’bout to slide, ayy / Can’t let this one slide, ayy.” The video follows Drake as he dances his way through his marble-furnished residence and ends at the rapper’s garden where fireworks light up the night sky.

“Toosie Slide” is the latest solo offering from Drake, following February’s “When to Say When” and “Chicago Freestyle.” The rapper also recently collaborated with Future on two songs: “Desires” and “Life is Good.” Earlier this year, the 6 God revealed that his upcoming album will be “more concise” than his massive 2018 double album Scorpion.
