Donald Glover’s new album, Donald Glover Presents, has disappeared as quickly as it surfaced on the internet.
The record was surprise-released on the rapper-actor’s website on Sunday morning, where it played on a continuous loop, according to Pitchfork. It featured 12 tracks, with appearances from Ariana Grande on the track “Time,” as well as SZA and 21 Savage on “Vibrate.”
Glover, who formerly released music under the moniker Childish Gambino, pulled the album after about half a day of streaming. The record, which also included previously released tracks like “Feels Like Summer” and “Algorythm,” is Glover’s first full-length since 2016’s critically acclaimed Awaken, My Love!.
Later in 2017, the musician announced that he would be retiring his Childish Gambino moniker because it was no longer “necessary,” according to CNN. But in 2019, he seemed to change his mind, telling Jimmy Kimmel that he still “really love[s] making music.”
Last year, Glover appeared on The Lion King: The Gift, the companion album to Disney’s The Lion King remake (in which he voiced Simba). He appeared on the track “Mood 4 Eva.”
It is currently unknown if Donald Glover Presents will be properly released at a later date.
