DJ Khaled, Drake reunite on “Popstar” and “Greece”

DJ Khaled has released two new songs featuring Drake: “Popstar” and “Greece.”

The new tracks mark the duo’s first collaboration since the 2017 single “To the Max.” On “Popstar,” Drake bemoans the pressures of fame, from constant phone calls to police scrutiny, and on “Greece” he attempts to seduce a lady with luxurious promises.

Both songs will feature on DJ Khaled’s upcoming 12th studio album, Khaled Khaled—the follow-up to his 2019 LP Father of Asahd. A release date for Khaled’s new album has yet to be announced.

Drake has also been hard at work on a new record, which he said earlier this year will be “more concise” than previous releases. In May, he surprise-released the mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes, and promised his next album would be out in the summer.
