ZUU, the highly anticipated fourth album from Denzel Curry, is out now.
In a recent interview with HotNewHipHop, the Florida rapper revealed that the project’s recording process was completely improvised. “I freestyled the whole thing. Went from mind to mic. The pen and the pad is the middle-man if you already know what you’re going to say,” Curry explained.
The rapper also added that he wanted to keep things straightforward on the new album. “I didn’t make it overly complex. [Last year’s] TA13OO was overly complex. Too many complex bars within it. I just wanted to keep it simple and plain. Straight to the point. Just get down to business. Forget the dilly-dallying,” he said.
