Denzel Curry, Twelve’len, GoldLink drop visual for “Black Balloons”

A standout from Curry’s 2018 album, ‘TA13OO.’

Denzel Curry has dropped a narrative-driven MV for “Black Balloons,” featuring Twelve’len and GoldLink.

In the cinematic Zev Deans-directed video, a shady industry figure promises Curry wealth and success, and successfully persuades the rapper to sign a deal with him. He then leads Curry to a hedonistic reality overflowing with the temptations of money, women and drugs. The choices the rapper makes gradually transform him into his clown-faced alter-ego, Clout Cobain, who meets an ill-fated end behind bars.

“Black Balloons” is the third single from Curry’s 2018 album, TA13OO, to receive the visual treatment. He previously released a clip for the Zillakami- and JPEGMAFIA-assisted cut, “Vengeance.” He also dropped “Aloha,” a collaboration with producer Charlie Heat.
