Denzel Curry jumps on “Poison Klan” by PlayThatBoiZay

Along with fellow Floridian MC Anonymuz.

Denzel Curry has linked up with his fellow Floridian rappers PlayThatBoiZay and Anonymuz for the menacing banger “Poison Klan.”

Zel gets the track off to a fierce start with a sly nod to Bell Biv DeVoe, later spitting, “Trump cards on deck, like I’m Reagan, huh / Every year some bullshit, I ain’t pagan, huh / I wanna take over the world, but while I’m waitin’, huh / That might be the same day I’m fightin’ Satan, huh.” Anonymuz and PlayThatBoiZay flaunt their flows between distorted choruses that interpolate a children’s chant, dropping references to Tesla and the Boston Celtics along the way.

Curry previously collaborated with PlayThatBoiZay on “PAT,” the closing track of Curry’s acclaimed 2019 album ZUU. Zel also appeared on “No Threat” from Anonymuz’s album There is No Threat, which was released in March.
