Deante’ Hitchcock drops groovy “Let the Beat Build” freestyle

Reviving his ‘New Atlanta Tuesdays’ series.

Deante’ Hitchcock has revived his New Atlanta Tuesdays series with a brand-new freestyle, “Let the Beat Build.”

The rapper reflects on his success and future plans over groovy, gospel-tinged production. “Labels lookin’ like, ‘Where you find this guy?’ / On da soufside shawty / And if you’re lookin’ for me / You know that I’m outside shawty,” he rap-sings.

Hitchcock kickstarted New Atlanta Tuesdays in 2016 on SoundCloud. It later gained widespread popularity and put the rapper on the map. The last freestyle in the series, “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See,” was released two years ago.

Hitchcock’s latest freestyle follows a slew of steady releases from the Atlanta emcee. In 2020, he released his debut album Better, which later received a deluxe edition, and followed them up with a live album Live From Quarantine.
