Rising Atlanta rapper Deante’ Hitchcock has released “How TF,” his new collaboration with R&B singer 6LACK.

The pair contemplate love over Brandon Phillips-Taylor’s jazzy, laid-back production, wondering if it’s worth pursuing someone who’s constantly emotionally unavailable. “How the fuck am I supposed to tell you that I need you?” Hitchcock questions at the top of the track. “I need a second to think what you done again.”

6LACK jumps in on the second half to warn his lover that he’s only “known for breaking hearts,” though he claims it’s only because he was betrayed before. “I been through a lot, a little traumatized / But now I feel like big magic / You ain’t never kissed magic,” he sings.

“How TF” is expected to appear on Hitchcock’s forthcoming project, Better, the follow-up to his March Just A Sample 2 EP. He more recently appeared on “PTSD,” a cut from Dreamville’s compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers III.
