Dax, Trippie Redd join forces on emotional collab

“I Don’t Want Another Sorry” is out now.

Dax and Trippie Redd have teamed up on an emotional new collab, “I Don’t Want Another Sorry.”

The bass-heavy track was accompanied by an equally dramatic visual directed by Logan Meis. The clip follows an anguished Dax who undergoes a heart transplant after his girlfriend breaks up with him. “I never thought this shit would end / And I don’t want another sorry / Sorry, you’re not sorry / I never thought this shit would end,” he laments.

The video ends with the message: “A broken heart can’t be fixed. Only mended or replaced.”

“‘I Don’t Want Another Sorry’ is a very personal song to me,” Dax wrote in the YouTube description. “Share this with anyone and everyone who can relate to those words. Love y’all.”

Earlier this month, Dax released the festive jingle “Grinch,” which followed a string of DC-inspired loosies such as “Joker Returns” and “Gotham.” In February, he dropped his own take on Eminem’s hit “Godzilla,” before releasing the EP I’ll Say it For You. Meanwhile, Redd unveiled his third studio full-length, Pegasus, in October.
