DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion lead first ‘XXL’ Freshman cypher

Also featuring YK Osiris and Lil Mosey.

The first XXL 2019 Freshman cypher has arrived. It features killer performances from DaBaby and Megan Thee Stallion, as well as appearances from YK Osiris and Lil Mosey.

First up is Mosey, who opens the cypher wearing a white fur coat while calling the DJ Scheme beat “lame.” The group’s resident hot girl then comes in with her rapid-fire flow and sizzling bars: “Speakin’ on my name only make it sound better / Your n***a in my DMs and he writin’ love letters / Texas booty lookin’ softer than Hawaiian rolls / I be in the gym, I’m your girl body goals.”

Osiris gets melodic on his verse, dropping a reference to his Billboard Hot 100 hit “Worth it,” before DaBaby brings it home. The North Carolina rapper gets the most screen time, delivering fiery bars for two whole minutes straight: “These n***as they know I’m a dawg / I ain’t worried about him I know he a bitch / The next n***a that come play with me / I’mma send him to go ask Tupac for a pic.”
