CupcakKe’s new single unleashes the “Mosh Pit”

She’s a walking blizzard.

Hot off the release of last week’s “Mickey,” CupcakKe has struck again with her second single of the year, “Mosh Pit.”

“I’m a walking blizzard,” the Chicago native asserts on this new banger that’s worthy of its namesake. The single is a two-minute dose of fiery, bassy goodness, replete with name-drops of Toosii and Jhené Aiko. CupcakKe’s confident bars demolish disappointing men worth none of her time: “Mosh pit, ’bout to put a hole in ’em / Better have on Calvin Kleins / ’Cause I’mma knock you denims.” The song’s cinematic music video also features the rapper flanked by a rifle-toting home squad.

Coming off singles last year such as “Lemon Pepper” and “Discounts,” Cupcakke’s last full-length projects Eden and Ephorize both dropped in 2018. The prolific MC is riding a promising hot streak—2021 looks to be a productive year for her.
